New Moon Solar Eclipse in Capricorn December 2019

2019 began with and ends with a Solar Eclipse in Capricorn! This is the final New Moon of the decade and it’s also a solar eclipse! There’s a lot to talk about here!
2019 started off with, and will close out the year, with a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Capricorn! Wow! There is so much going on with this archetype that we need to really understand the unique opportunities available!
Capricorn, ruled by The Devil archetype, is hosting a million planets right now. In the Tarot, The Devil represents our shadow and dark side - and we all have one. To the degree we have not worked with our shadow will determine how much it runs our perception and actions within the material world. Ruled by Saturn, the auditor of the astrological planets, Capricorn can be very heavy and quite pessimistic whenever its patterns forget about spirituality. Remember, Capricorn is connected to the story of Lucifer who wanted to be greater than God.
We have so many things going on in Capricorn right now. Jupiter is in Capricorn expanding our understanding about half-truths and helping us to outgrow codependency with others. The Sun is transiting Capricorn shining light into the darkest area of our charts, except it’s being blocked out by the moon for 48 hours.
When the Sun is obscured by the Moon in Capricorn (aka a solar eclipse), the all-giving light of the Sun will be eclipsed by the receiving nature of the Moon. This means that your receiving nature could block out what is being BROUGHT to you by the universe. It’s a classic case of getting in our own way. Or as Woody Allen says, “If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans.”
Sometimes our desires are not in alignment with our true purpose and destiny, especially if we’ve been possessed by the media or some entity who needs a vehicle to satiate itself. So how can we know if we are pursuing something which is in alignment with our true purpose and destiny? The Question Of This Lunar Quest.

New Moon’s, even during solar eclipses are an excellent time to begin something new - even going into a new direction. On the subject of being in alignment with your purpose and destiny, if you are in alignment with your purpose and destiny everything will go very smoothly to put you on that path. When we try to force things to “work” we may end up selling our soul to outside forces and make “deals” to get what “you” want.
Compromising leads to compensating.
Our material addictions and manipulations get in the way of what is really due to us. The Universe wants to give us more than we could ask for, but when we insist on taking just a small amount, we will always be left with a sense of lack. Ask anyone who achieved anything by selling their soul.
This solar eclipse is a time when raw truth wants to show itself. Sometimes this is a bit challenging, and we are asked to balance our material affairs and look for a synchronicity for guidance.
Synchronicity is a strong sign that we are aligned with our purpose and destiny. But a warning, the ego-mind can make anything look like a “sync” in order to validate its karmic filter. True synchronicity opens doors and is free from confirming detours.
Capricorn reminds us that we are not entitled to anything, except for being wrong, which we usually are! However, when we are open to being wrong, a world of possibilities opens up.
