This Full Moon in Leo occurs on Feb 9, 2020, at 7:33 AM UTC when all the plants will be infused with a renewal of life force and spiritual energy. Be sure to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables within this 48-hour full moon window. You could even go vegetarian for these 48 hours.
Leo, ruled by the Strength archetype, symbolizes self-control, the state of being where we master our ego-driven thoughts and self-expression so that life-force can flow freely and untainted throughout our physical bodies. Plants, flowers, and trees are powerful conduits for the same life-force because it flows freely through them. They have no ego and only live to serve, which is why we can learn so much from them.
The Full Moon in Leo will present us with the courage to change any fate we have faced since the New Moon in Aquarius. There is also a cosmic portal between this Full Moon and the New Moon in Leo from January 2019. Whatever we planted there will be asked to reflect upon with this Full Moon. The Moon is the only planet that visits every zodiac sign throughout the month. It has a good sense of the vibe within each sign and when in Leo it wants to remove any obstacles keeping us from perfect expression, behavior, and power. Ruled by Strength, this Full Moon has the ability to wipe out many patterns that prevent us from restriction, self-control, and power.
What Does The Full Moon Mean?
There is a reason why many people feel out of balance during the Full Moon: It is a time of great transformative energy, and most people are not equipped to handle it. Leo is a sign of confidence and often represents the ego. We need the ego because without the ego there is nothing for the life-force to flow through. With the Full Moon occurring in Leo we will be asked to become humble like a flower, knowing that our beauty and strength is a service to others.
True strength and beauty comes from within and is fortified by our actions. When we fall in love with our looks, we become delusional to reality. With this Full Moon in Leo, we will be put into a position where we can be love without being in love with ourselves. Think for a minute about how the beast, from Beauty and The Beast, became the beast in the first place.
Strength kindly, gently and lovingly tames everything into its highest possible vibration which is where true beauty lives.
Enter the seven of wands, the tarot card of this Full Moon in Leo, which teaches us about standing up for who we are, no matter the odds. We may find ourselves protecting our “larger than life” stance. This could mean not giving in to peer pressure, and not giving mind to what people think of you. Also, going against the “norm” and being true to yourself.
There is an energy of resistance and could give way for a bit of drama - don’t give into it! To be drama free, control the ego. Leo teaches us how to control our lion-like nature and gives us the power to do so. To the degree we can control our animal nature, we will be immune to the animal nature of others. If we conquer our ego, then others cannot hurt our feelings.
Try not to apologize for being yourself during this time (obviously as long as it is not harming others). This is not a season pass to be selfish, but rather confident and protective of your power, persona, and ability to express yourself or take the lead in your life.
The Question Of This Quest.

This question gives us a chance to find and access true beauty. When we think about who the true enemy is, we become aware of what or who we need to love.
Love is the substance within the life-force that flows through all of us. When we hate or dislike or have problems with anything in the material world, we have a problem with the life-force it represents.
We are all connected, like the network of trees and plants across the world.
We need to be connected to nature and plants and turn our heads away from the screens for a moment and connect to the networks in the roots. Breakaway from the physicality of 2D and connect with the healing of plants and the green.
When we can accomplish this, we grow against our nature (to be selfish) and align with the Universe which is all giving and sharing.
As we align with the Universe, we become more successful and fulfilled in the right reality as we rise above limitations - into our potential. Our seeds, our potential, become manifest into fruition.
The Full Moon of solar Aquarius correlates to the Full Moon of Solar Leo, which is also known as the Full Moon of Soulmates. It is opposite to that astrological decan on the astrological wheel. The Full Moon of Soulmates is one of the happiest days of the entire year, where relationships receive a surge of energy, no different than the plant kingdom will.
We learn from the Full Moon of Soulmates that we connect to our soulmate by purifying hatred in our hearts. We will know that we no longer harbor hatred within us when we no longer propagate - actively or reactively - hatred in our world.
The Full Moon in Leo is also a powerful day to celebrate because we can download the energy we need to rise above anything which holds us down and merge with our essential self.
We will be positioned to choose an environment, root ourselves in it, and nurture our choice so that we can grow and become more connected - NOT ISOLATED.
This is about pushing ourselves away from isolation and into connection with our essential self and to others. There is so much power nature has to offer us. When we invest in our environment, our soil, we bring value and love into our lives.
When we value love, we will become connected and that’s what this Full Moon is about. That is how we overcome hatred within us.
The Tarot teaches us that we need to be constantly growing and bringing new life so that the fruit of our spiritual work can be shared with others. We shouldn’t be discouraged not give up because the fruit of our efforts wants to bloom with this Full Moon which will help us bring them to fruition.
