The Full Moon Of Enlightenment

This Full Moon will be on May 18, 2019 at 9:11 PM UTC @ 27° Scorpio (convert into your local time zone).
As history tells us, this is the same Full Moon which Siddhartha Gautama overcame Mara, the world of illusion, and attained enlightenment. As with all powerful moments in time, the energy available existed before the action as cause always precedes effect. Siddhartha knew that if he wanted to really attain enlightenment, he needed to do it at the optimal time in order to transcend the master of illusion.
The Full Moon in Scorpio opens the same cosmic window for us, what we do with it is up to our free will. Like Siddhartha, we can transcend any illusions that are holding us hostage.
Just so that we are very clear, Siddhartha used the energy available on the Full Moon in Scorpio and not the other way around. Meaning, we don’t observe the historical feat, but we also utilize the energy available.
Depending on which astrological house this Full Moon in Scorpio is occurring for you will determine where we can transcend and liberate ourselves from illusion. Full Moons give us the ability to take whatever blockages we are facing in our life back down to the quantum level so that we can create something new. It’s a window in time when we can melt down obstacles back into their original - and thereby neutral - energy state.
We know that everything in this universe is made up of the same matter. If we have set intentions on the New Moon, or at any point in our lives, on the Full Moons we can follow-up with those intentions and see where we stand.
The Question of this Quest.
In order to see what we need to remove, each Full Moon poses a unique question for reflection, as the Sun and Moon are in opposition - reflecting back to each other asking:
“Where am I standing in my own way because I am unable to let go?”

True liberation occurs when we do it together. Which is why we should focus on our collective liberation from the limitations of our society, families and administrations. We each have the task to see what we are unable to let go of and to figure out how to let go of our individual pieces so that those pieces can come together.
Unity.
If we think about it, when we work on a puzzle, we are bringing things together. We are essentially striving for unity. When we are standing in our own way, we are blocking unity.
The stars need to be united within us, meaning that we do not reject anything within. Whatever we reject, we aren't taking responsibility for. And if we can't take responsibility we can't change our destiny or dissolve wounds from the past.
There are many roads to union, but we can take them with the spirit of unity where we tolerate different points of view, and are not afraid of being wrong. Unity is people pleasing or trying to become what people want us to be, but allowing me to be me and you to be you to have the bigger picture.
Inner Unity, First.

The first step to attaining unity on the outside, is to become united within. For example, our external self, or our ego, wants to have success. Most of us are guided by the ego and want it wants that, in many cases, we tend to ignore the longing of our spirits.
Our spirits want union, our spirits want to become whole. What’s more, is that our spirits and our ego want to become one as well.
So, we need to keep this in mind before we set off to unite everything, many have tried and only communism or tyranny have ensued.
Defeating Mara.
The world of illusion, is the world of fragmentation. The power of this Full Moon in Scorpio is to realize that once illusion is defeated, we have attained unity.
It is no wonder that Scorpio, the archetype of death and transformation, is hosting the liberating energy we need to decompose illusion and unite with union.
So make a list of the things that are standing in your way, and allow yourself to melt down these obstacles so that you can create the reality you will enjoy. Scorpio demands honesty, and it will reward us only to the degree that we allow ourselves to transform judgement into mercy.
