FINALLY! The astrological chart is beginning to outnumber all the Capricorn energy! The chart for this New Moon in Pisces has 6 plants in Pisces (Capricorn has 5) which means that we finally have more water and more mutability in the cosmos!

In DASH® Astrology, we work with the four primordial elements, which you can learn more about in my online university. Pisces is a water sign and water has the power to bring things to life! This New Moon has the power to water our seeds and to destroy our clay moldings.

During the New Moon in Pisces, the veil lifts so we may see beyond what meets the eye. Everything might get a bit switched around. Mercury is also retrograding through Pisces, asking us to look within and bring our focus onto our inner thoughts and thought processes.

I will offer a Mercury retrograde balancing meditation in this New Moon in Pisces meditation to help us utilize the energy in the best way possible!

A New Moon in Pisces can initiate a new cycle of connecting to our dreams and spirituality. When we connect to the 48-hour lunar window of this New Moon, we can receive all the energy we need to optimize this lunar cycle.

Pisces is ruled by The Path tarot card, an archetype that represents the stage of spiritual unfoldment where the information, gained through meditation, has to be organized into the bodily organism. The New Moon in Pisces helps us to turn to spirituality in the face of confusion and allows us to disconnect from anything no longer serving a higher purpose. It’s a powerful lunar position that allows us to become creative and filled with imagination.

When the moon is in Pisces, our cell memory gets reprogrammed and the lines of reality begin to blur. This particular Pisces New Moon connects us to the power of our ancestors and reminds us that death is only an illusion. During this 48 lunar window, a portal opens to help us connect to those who have passed on and might be stuck in their elevation process. Our task is to look and see what we are having a hard time to walk away from, what seems so difficult to leave behind even though we know it’s the right thing to do. Because this is how getting stuck happens. On this side and on the other side of the veil. 

But during this New Moon in Pisces, we are able to help the deceased elevate, while at the same time we may receive messages from our ancestors, friends, and loved ones from the other side, which may help us to get unstuck.

In other words, this lunar window will bring us messages from the other side and show us where we didn’t get the message or anything else we have been missing. Needless to say, this can be a bit aggravating because many times we take refuge in our illusionary world and try to ignore the stress we are going through, but this new moon will let it all bleed through.

This is actually beneficial because we need to see what’s on our canvas of intention so that we can see what we are working with.

24 hours before and 24 hours after the New Moon is a cosmic window where subconscious content rises to the surface and asks us to deal with whatever we have suppressed so that it will not contaminate our efforts.

The Question Of This Quest.

In DASH® Astrology, the New Moon is a time to receive energy for our quest! To access the quantum quest of Pisces, we should open ourselves to the following question:

“How deeply do I understand the words: “You will realize the Truth and the Truth will set you free”?”

This New Moon is a bit like Halloween, or the Day of The Dead when the portals to the other side open and contact can be made. The film Coco is a great movie for this New Moon to see how this mutual elevation works.

When something dies in this world, only its physical part expires. The spirit lives on. This is true for animals, drug addicts, actors, and even great sages or gurus. Life goes on, karma needs to be corrected, missions still need to be fulfilled.

Some spirits get stuck because they are too attached to the material world and it’s difficult for them to elevate to the next level. The danger here is that we, as the living, tend to idealize the departed.

We easily turn a blind eye to the poor behavior of people, or we think that just because someone has expired and departed that they are are all of a sudden enlightened and looking down on us - not the case.

Actually, it’s case-by-case, but for sure nobody is automatically enlightened or relieved of their karma when their physical vessel expires and moves on in spirit form without a body.

In fact, spirits without a body are in a long waiting line to get a vessel or a body. Think about the long line at the gates of heaven where it’s decided where you go, based on your actions (karma, or what we call fate in DASH®). We need to be elevating in the material and in the non-material, at all times.

The material world is the place to be because it’s the only realm where we can experience physicality and the senses. The material realm is the world where we humans can amount to something and where we behave like the creator as we create things - good and bad. So the line is long to get in here, and we see long lines for physical sensations all the time (remember the iPhone release lines?)

Nobody is automatically enlightened by dying and while it is possible for us to request assistance from the departed, we want to be as selective as we would be in the material world. For example, you wouldn’t ask your great grandmother to help you with business advice because she might not have access to that type of information. IF you do invite them to help, it can create all sorts of chaos!

I hope to dismantle the illusion that the departed are enlightened masters because they aren’t, they are working out their fate somewhere. Maybe they have been reborn, or maybe they are in another realm working it out.

As for the masters who have departed, like Jesus or Buddha, we can talk to them and ask for their help. Christians contact the departed all the time whenever they pray to Jesus.

We can receive counsel and messages from those whose love for us still radiates in the higher realms. By invoking the memories of loved ones, we are able to help elevate them if they are stuck with the power of this new moon in Pisces. At the same time, we can receive messages and guidance from the masters who love us as they surround us in their light so we can find the Truth and let set us free.

The Moon, which represents our vessel, will be empty and ready to receive everything it needs for its 29-day journey around the zodiacal city.
