I’ve got everything you need to know about 2021 including Mercury retrograde dates and some very big cosmic appointments!

Where 2020 was ruled by Aries, 2021 is ruled by Taurus, where we build upon whatever has been set in 2020. Oh dear…….

Taurus rules over the media, religion and all systems. Taurus also asks us to access our inner awareness so that we can bridge together our outer experiences with inner wisdom. Looking at the charts, there will be a lot of interference between our inner wisdom and outer experiences. We need to work hard to keep this bridge strong and solid by replacing blame, laziness and codependency with the power of self-responsibility, self-reliance and interdependence.

Only entitlement will mislead anyone into believing that 2021 will just wipe out all of 2020. That sort of pretension got us into the 2020 mess in the first place. Believe it or not, though, the nodes were the saving grace of 2020. 2021 will host more eclipses within the Gemini-Sagittarius axis making sure we earn any gifts we have received.

To review, 2020 was also the quantum doorway into the entire 2020s, and in spite of all the drama, the entire year was filled with magic. So now, we have to progress forward from whatever work we did in 2020.

This forecast does not include every transit, but it outlines many important ones. As always, DASH® astrology cannot and should not predict outcomes, but only show what’s available. The path we take is always up to our own fatalistic filters as we make our own choices. However, knowledge is power and when you know better, you do better!

Obviously! Both Saturn and Jupiter are found in Aquarius, building upon their stay in Capricorn. We can expect to see more social movements that may even border on the rise of socialism. By looking at how we as a collective utilized the energy of 2020, it looks as if that’s what we will be dealing with. Life runs in cycles and what we are going through now as a collective has happened before and it will happen again. All we need to do is look to the past to understand the present and foresee the future. The only trick is that we have different clothing, better technology and different masks that mask our ability to recognize when someone steps into a role that will propel what’s happened before.

2020 blueprints will be built throughout 2021, and we are all called to look within our hearts, listen to our inner voice and speak our truth. As unchecked community guidelines are on the rise, and freedom is being restructured, we need not be afraid to speak the truth against policies that seem to violate human rights, or just make no sense.

Socialist and communist movements will attempt to overtake self-responsibly and the inspired creation of reality throughout 2021 due to all the degraded Aquarian energy swirling around.

Rather than repeat the trending narratives in 2021, try to think and speak for yourself no matter how scary it seems. Remember that facts are often confused with opinions and we need to keep our guard up from believing in lies. Social memes have the tendency to go viral, but they only get their power from lazy minds that don’t want to think for themselves, or who want to blame and thereby be controlled.

Mars is moving much faster in 2021! Throughout 2020, Mars was in Aries, the sign it rules, throwing a wrench in all things empirical. Mars in just one sign for an entire year is definitely like quarantine. Mars, the planet of action, in just one sign is a real challenge, but in 2021 everyone can expect some more action.

Also, it needs to be mentioned that 2020 was an “Aries” year and 2021 asks us to progress with “Taurus” attitudes and themes. Check out the 2021 Carnelian Eggs that will bring good luck throughout the year!

Currently, Uranus is transiting through Taurus, shaking up the system and refreshing the media! Oh yes, Taurus rules over the media and all things that have to do with faith and authority! Oh my!

Uranus, the rebel, and Taurus, the bull, take a while to get on together, but as soon as they do, nothing, and I mean nothing, can stop them! Wait till these babies born under this placement grow up!

There are some very interesting aspects occurring with Uranus in Taurus this year!

The planet of turbulence and innovation will square off with Saturn, the planet of restrictions and destiny, three times throughout the year! Talk about the alpha and the omega kissing on the lips! Well, it will be more like a forced peck on the cheek accompanied by an eye roll! Think of a board meeting with an auditor and a new product developer who come together to talk about leaks, the media, and social impact! OMG! They don’t even speak the same language!

Saturn holds all the wisdom that Uranus has yet to experience. Uranus is somewhat arrogant thinking that things don’t exist until IT has experienced them. The paradox here is that it’s true, even though it’s misappropriated, and that’s the issue this year: we take facts and apply them where they shouldn’t be. This is called, “being out of context”.

Anytime we experience something that is “out of the blue” or “irrelevant” or “misappropriated” it’s something behaving the way it’s not programmed to behave (hello Oracle from The Matrix - I just loved that scene where she meets Neo for the first time and offers him candy).

Everything is fair game, the media, the church, the banks, schools, religion, basically, anything that has a system will feel this quake!

2021 Earth Stelliums

• April 23, Mercury, Uranus, Venus all in Taurus

• December 29, Venus, Mercury, Pluto all in Capricorn

There will also be two, count them, two earth stelliums this year! So watch out for those earthquakes! Uranus is turbulence and Taurus is the earth! Desire more, desire the light, desire love, life, and transformation! That will pacify the tectonic plates on a grand scale. When we truly desire, we eliminate entitlement and the degraded Capricorn ambitions that leave us all out in the cold.

Jupiter and Saturn taught us a lot in 2020 and will continue to do so throughout the years to come. But, just because a lot of the major conjunctions are over, doesn’t mean that it’s time to forget the past! No way! It’s like a plane that has just taken off: it needs to reach cruising altitude, descend, and then land!

Jupiter is now separating from Saturn and Pluto, taking everything it experienced and sharing its experiences with the entire Zodiac! It’s like Jupiter is on tour! LOL!! Coming to a reality near you soon! 2021, Jupiter is square Uranus, either exaggerating more of the same or getting some much-needed upgrades in the earth department!

Now, what could this look like? Well, businesses, for example, have shut down. So what’s going to happen after we’ve been vaccinated and we go back out into the world, and nothing is open! That could be one future with this transit. Another could be that we open our hearts and bring new money into the mix!

How? Well, people may download new ideas and ways to create work and there will be money, but we need to think outside the box in order to make that happen.

Jupiter will also enter Pisces on May 13 for just a quick cameo before it goes retrograde on June 20 and then back into Aquarius on July 28. What the heck does that all mean?

Well, we are being tested and tested over and again regarding the 2020 drama. That’s why 2020 isn’t over (both the good and the bad.) We can still access the 2020 magic, but we need to uproot what unleashed all that madness in the first place.

Now, let’s talk about Mercury retrograde!!!

The 2021 Mercury Retrograde Dates

• Jan 30 - Feb 20 in Aquarius

• May 29 - June 22 in Gemini

• Sept. 27 - Oct. 18 in Libra

Because Mercury retrograde affects our focus and communication, keep it together as much as possible, stay focused, and double-check travel plans, contracts, and negotiations. Avoid beginning or signing anything big if possible.

Last year, all the mercury retrogrades had been in water things. This year is all air! OMG! Winds of change within! That’s what it’s all about! So the normal energy of communication and transportation is going in reverse on the outside as we are going within. Healing our cells communicate with each other (and process the vaccine lol).

It will be a time to open the mind (Mercury) and go against the intellectual winds.

January

• January 1, Saturn 1º Aquarius

• January 6, Mars enters Taurus

• January 20, Mars conjunct Uranus in Taurus

• January 30, Mercury goes retrograde in Aquarius

The New Year doesn’t erase the past year, but with Saturn in Aquarius, things should begin to lighten up. Sort of. Saturn in Aquarius wants to organize the masses, perhaps for an entirely new world system. Could socialism be on the rise? No matter what happens, just remember to think for yourself! Mars in Taurus is going to be very intense! There is no doubt about it! Time to break down some very old habits that keep us lost! Mercury goes retrograde at the end of the month.

February

• February 17, Saturn square Uranus (first occurrence)

• February 20, Mercury goes direct in Aquarius

On February 17th, we have our first Saturn square Uranus transit. It’s a standoff between what works and what needs to be implemented. Then, on the 20th, Mercury will go direct in Aquarius clearing up all sorts of confusion and allowing us to work on the outside again.

March

• March 3, Mars enters Gemini

• March 20, Astrological New Year and the 12 days of Aries

Mars is on the move, progressing quickly through the signs! It’s like it’s been cooped up in Aries all 2020 and now it wants to spread its wings and move around! Don’t be promiscuous though! We need to remember social graces now that there is more external energy out in the world. So many of us have forgotten social manners throughout 2020, we need to be tactful in our actions, please. Thank you.

April

• April 23, Mars enters Cancer

• April 23, Taurus Stellium with Mercury, Uranus, Venus

After some time in airy Gemini, Mars, the red planet enters Cancer, stirring up our emotions and bringing some activity back into the home. This is a time to use your emotions in a way that will empower your movement throughout the world. Don’t act out these emotions, make them work for you. On the same day, Mars goes into Cancer, there will be a grouping of planets (aka, a stellium) in Taurus grounding all that watery emotion.

• May 13, Jupiter enters Pisces

• Mary 26, Total Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius

• May 29, Mercury goes retrograde

Praise the heavens! Jupiter will enter Pisces on May 13th! What does this mean?! Jupiter loves Pisces and perhaps even gets lost in the constellation. Think about it: The biggest planet swimming around it the sea of mysticism, spirituality, victimization, and addiction! OMG! Lots of feelings are coming up, but I think this could be a great time to cultivate compassion and shed a tear or two for the state of the world. Either way, it’s time to put your wheels on the path and move forward!

• June 5, Mars opposes Pluto

• June 5, Ascension into The Gates of Paradise

• June 10, Annular Solar Eclipse in Gemini

• June 11, Mars enters Leo

• June 14, Saturn square Uranus

• June 20, Jupiter goes Rx

• June 21, Summer Solstice

• June 22, Mercury goes direct

June will unfold a new landscape as we will undergo an eclipse and a powerful solstice.

Plus, the day of paradise will allow us to unite together! However, Mars will oppose Pluto, creating a huge power struggle (still) amongst the warriors and manipulators. Oh, man! This is a bit scary actually because Pluto is also the higher octave of Mars which means there is a lot of firepowers opposing itself right now. Let’s not fight fire with fire, step away, and think of another way to win. Don’t give up, just don’t do the obvious thing.

Jupiter turns retrograde, and heads back into good ol’ Aquarius for a time of review *sigh*

July

• July 13, Venus conjunct Mars in Leo - Soulmate Power!

• July 28, Jupiter Rx re-enters Aquarius

• July 29, Mars enters Virgo

A powerful day of love falls on July 13 when Venus and Leo unite and make some grey (as in the union of yin and yang, duh.) Relationships will get tested to see how much love is real and how much is just surface level. This is also a day of soulmates, 100%! Wow, I love what the Universe has scheduled here. Just remember, be the person you want to be with because your partner will show you who you really are! Otherwise, enjoy the intense union of Venus and Mars.

The Universe concurs with the Italians this year, have a nice month off, catching up on everything that’s been going on! I hope you can enjoy it!

September

• September 22, Autumn Equinox

• September 27, Mercury goes retrograde in Libra

Of course, the Autumn Equinox will weigh our past choices. Days later, the final Mercury retrograde of the year will occur in Libra. Once again, throwing off the electoral system as well as the communication between people. Be patient and know that harmony comes to those who want it.

October

• October 17, Jupiter direct 

• October 18, Mercury direct

Both Jupiter and Mercury go direct within a day of each other. This is like the biggest and smallest gears on a machine stopping and turning in another direction at the same time. Expect major winds of change as well as growth spurts that hurt!

November

• November 19, Partial Lunar Eclipse in Taurus

This is the first eclipse within Taurus which will set the stage for the next series of eclipses. It’s intense because with all the activity in Taurus this year, we will be thrown another challenge in the realm of media, banks, and religion. Think of your posts before you publish them because an eclipse is a sort of like censorship, and you wouldn’t dream of being censored would you?

December

• December 4, Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius

• December 13, Mars enters Sagittarius

• December 21, Winter Solstice

• December 24, Saturn square Uranus

• December 28, Jupiter enters Pisces

• December 29, Capricorn Stellium with Venus, Mercury, and Pluto

December finishes off 2021 just like any car salesman closer would. Quick, to the point, will tell you whatever you want to hear as long as your checkbook is open. First, we have another eclipse, then Mars will enter Sagittarius where the eclipse was. Omg, as if we didn’t have enough firepower already. What we are going to do with all this?

Saturn will square Uranus one final time before asking us if we really want what we are aiming for. Really think about it because the foundation is being laid.

Then, Jupiter will go back into Pisces just in time for the New Year. We better make sure that our destination is clear because it’s very easy to get lost at sea, no matter how big your boat is! Just be compassionate with yourself and don’t take things so personally because the Capricorn Stellium will give you plenty of things to worry about controlling (if that’s your gig).
