This New Moon in Libra can initiate a new cycle of balance and justice. When we connect to the 48-hour lunar window of this New Moon, we can receive all the energy we need to optimize this lunar cycle.

Every New Moon offers us a unique cosmic gift. With this New Moon in Libra, we will be granted a blank canvas to pull out of a black hole of negativity, strengthen our spirituality and truly understand the power of sharing.

24 hours before and 24 hours after the New Moon is a cosmic window where our subconscious will come out from the shadows and ask us to deal with whatever we have suppressed so that it will not contaminate our efforts.

The Question Of This Quest.

In DASH® Astrology, the New Moon is a time to receive energy for our quest! To access the quantum quest of Libra, we should open ourselves to the following question:

“To what degree are my actions motivated by my fear of financial loss? What action did I need to take to counterweight this motivation?”

The September New Moon is occurring within the balancing days of Libra that follow the Autumn Equinox.

The archetype of this New Moon is Justice, which is a greatly misunderstood archetype. Most people think they can get justice for some perceived wrong, but it doesn’t work that way.

Justice is just. We don’t need to enforce it. This is because justice is karma is delivered when the time is ripe. The only thing we can do is work to get rid of our karma!

When we want and pursue justice in life, we hold ourselves accountable to be judged. We actually attract and draw judgement into our own life.

So really, we want to take it down a notch when seeking justice in the world. There are greater powers at work that have the bigger picture and make sure everything is in balance. It is only our filters which prevent us from seeing the bigger picture.

Let’s take financial justice. We need to be careful that we aren’t disguising our entitlement to money with some kind of righteous-sounding position. Entitlement will cause us to feel that we deserve more than what we have been served. There is nothing wrong with wanting more, but we need to earn it!

Entitlement opens up a black hole that sucks up all the light we have. It will stay there too! We may dull ourselves down into thinking that all is well, but really, we are missing tons of light! No fulfillment! No happiness. Just shadows!

How do we earn it? By working on ourselves spiritually. This New Moon in Libra will help us deactivate our entitlement and can potentially help us be happy with what we have been served. Remember, the Autumn Equinox determined the amount of everything that we will receive for the next 12 months! The scales of justice don’t lie and cannot be manipulated! (only in Virgo!)

The Moon is in opposition to Chiron in Aries which is hitting us with insecurities about who we are and our ability to lead. Whenever we have a low-self-esteem, we find that beneath that is a lot of self-absorption and vanity. How else could there be self-esteem issues?!

When we can move out of our heads and think of others, we find that we don’t have the time or energy to be insecure. This is what this New Moon wants to teach us: we don’t need to supplement our spirituality and success with outer appearances and money. Especially now in these balancing days of Libra, we need to understand that there is a cosmic circuitry that is available to each and every one of us.

Libra is all about circuitry actually. That’s why it rules over the house of relationships. We need that exchange of energy in order to thrive. When we are obsessed with ourselves and what we get, we cut ourselves off from the unlimited source.

At this time of year, we want to avoid that at all costs.

With the power circuitry, we learn that when we bring more to a situation or a person than we are capable of, we receive a shower of blessings and magic. But the only way to bring more than we are capable of is by opening ourselves up to a greater love and cultivate a desire to share with others!

When we bring the bare minimum, maybe we resolve some karma at best. Most likely we accumulate more if we have resentment or feel like it’s a chore! Karma should be something inspires us to conquer! 

This is how it works. When we open ourselves up to sharing with others, we are bestowed with a surplus of energy that overflows into our world.

The alternative is having everything sucked dry by the black hole ego. We can reclaim that lost light and trapped blessings with the power of this New Moon in Libra.

Once we adjust our attitudes, we are able to release ourselves from that constantly stress of financial cycles. We learn that we want to receive whenever we share. Not because we get something out of it, but because we want to share and bring light into the world for no reason at all.

The Moon, which represents our vessel, will be empty and ready to receive everything it needs for its 29-day journey around the zodiacal city.

As it transits through each constellation neighborhood, it collects and gathers various gifts and lessons.
